Roman Day!

As we are studying Romans as part of our Topic this term, we had a 'Roman Day'.

We all came to school dressed as Romans...

We had a great time. We stayed in the outfits throughout the day.

We were even given a Roman Feast!

Start of Summer term in Class 3T

We were very lucky on Thursday 18th March - we had a team of people come into our school with various styles of bikes. There were small penny farthings, a micro bike, tandems all sorts of bikes that we would probably never of had the opportunity to ride.  We had a fantastic morning on them!

 

Monday 22nd April is the start of science week. We have been learning about reversible and irreversible changes using play dough.

 

 

William Morris Gallery

Class 3T had the opportunity to visit the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow.

 

We learnt about his life and saw famous prints and designs with a focus on repeated patterns.

 

 

We were able to engage in the interactive activities that were available to us. We had a fantastic time!

 

 

 

 

In 3T we have been.....

.....on a visit to the British Museum.
 

 
We had a great time during book week. We had 'bedtime stories' dressed in our pyjamas and we also had book character day when we had to come to school dressed as our favourite book character!

 

We also went into year one to help the children with their reading.

 

 

Pirate Day!

All of Year 2 recently spent the day dressed as Pirates!  We had a swashbuckling time on the high seas exploring desert islands and hunting for Blackbeard's long lost treasure.

We played Pirate games and really enjoyed our adventure.  Aha me hearties!

'The Land Before Time'

On Tuesday 10th May we all went on a coach trip to the Natural History Museum. We had an amazing day where we saw life size dinosaurs and lots of dinosaur skeletons. The best part was when the enormous moving T-Rex roared and growled as we walked past!


In class we will also be learning all about different dinosaurs and comparing their environment to our environment today. We will also be learning about cavemen and how they lived all those years ago.
